The Geology Garden –
Presenting our magnificent collection of large geological specimens in a new riverside area - extending our delightful herb garden and outdoor café area.
New Art –
The Gallery opens with the new work commissioned from respected artist Wendy McMurdo, a set of digitally created images working with children from Helmsdale Primary School and capturing their relationship with the museum displays. The rest of the year features the best contemporary exhibitions by local, national and international artists.
New Gifts –
The shop presents a new range of giftware, including our increasingly popular artist and maker of the month.
New Dishes –
As well as the ever popular homemade soups try out our new menu, or drop in for fresh coffee and homemade cakes while browsing our selection of books.
