Corin Sworn

Corin Sworn is a visual artist working with drawing, installation and video. Her work draws upon slippages and misalignments that occur in depictions of the past as the imaginations and ideals from one point in history are translated into another.

Recently she has been writing scripts that explore the interaction of various modes of speech. She works in Vancouver and Glasgow. Recent exhibitions include: Tramway, Glasgow (2010) Washington Garcia for Glasgow International (2010), Witte de With, Rotterdam (2010) EASTInternatinal (2009), Kunsthalle Basel (2009), Participant Inc. New York (2008) Upcoming exhibitions include Art Now at Tate Britain. She is represented by Blanket Contemporary Inc and Kendall Koppe Gallery.
