Timespan believes that by helping children and young people develop a sense of their heritage and identity as a Scottish, British or global citizen this will enable them to understand and respect the heritage and identity of others.
Linked with our heritage projects and museum is the Timespan Heritage Education Programme. The Programme has three elements: The Timespan Education Resource Pack (for use by teachers visiting the centre with their school groups), a workshop scheme whereby a professional researcher, curator or archivist can be booked to run a classrooom workshop and educational activities and information for children and adults visiting the museum.

This is collated to provide information, inspiration and guidance for teachers, children and young people across the spectrum of education. This is a bare-bones pack and we add individual pack details for each project to our download area below.
