Timespan Studio-Flat

The Timespan studio-flat is in the old toll house adjacent to Timespan looking over the river Helmsdale, Telford Bridge and the centre’s herb and flower garden. It is availble to rent for artists, researchers, historians or anyone looking for a relaxing break by the sea!

Newly converted in 2008 the flat has a bright, sunny, open plan living – working – kitchen area; including desk with internet connection and large work/dining table; fully accessible shower room/wc; washing machine, CD player, DVD player, internet access for a laptop. Sleeps two in comfort: twin/double bedroom (and convertible sofa in the living area).

The river Helmsdale flows from the Strath of Kildonan, famous for being at the heart of the Clearances and the site of an 18C gold-rush – you can still pan for gold!  Surrounded by superb Highland landscapes rich in flora and fauna, it is on the edge of the flow country, and the area has many historic sites including early settlements and landmarks.  The flat is in the centre of the village and extremely close to all restaurants, shops and pubs.
